Myongji Hospital delegation from South Korea to meet with the center's specialists

On 8 October 2026 a delegation of doctors from South Korea's Myongji Hospital will meet with specialists at the Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan medical center to share clinical experience in gastroenterology, therapeutic endoscopy and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery.

A meeting with a delegation of doctors from South Korea's Myongji Hospital will take place at the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology, the Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan medical center.

Delegation members

  • Professor Kim Jong-yeon — gastroenterologist, specialist in diseases of the digestive system and therapeutic endoscopy.
  • Professor Jin-Ho Jeong — surgeon, specialist in liver, biliary tract and pancreatic surgery and laparoscopic operations.

The main purpose of the meeting is to share advanced clinical experience in gastroenterology, therapeutic endoscopy and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery, discuss modern diagnostic and treatment methods, and define prospective areas of cooperation.

Meeting programme

  • 10:00–10:15 — welcoming the delegation and introducing the participants.
  • 10:15–11:00 — introduction to the work of the gastroenterology department.
  • 11:00–11:45 — introduction to the work of the surgery department.
  • 11:45–12:50 — round table with Professor Kim Jong-yeon and Professor Jin-Ho Jeong: sharing clinical experience and discussing cooperation prospects.
  • 12:50–13:00 — summing up and a group photo.

The meeting will be an important step toward strengthening professional ties between specialists of the two countries, studying advanced medical practice and developing joint scientific and educational projects.
