International master classes on advanced oncological surgery at the Center

From 14 to 18 September 2026, the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology will host international master classes devoted to high-technology surgical procedures.

Invited specialists from the Republic of Türkiye will take part:

• Prof. Dr. Fatih Altıntoprak
• Dr. Emine Sena Cünük

The programme combines practical surgical work with an exchange of professional experience, focusing on modern surgical approaches and on refining the technique of complex operations.

Surgical procedures and master classes will be held in the following areas:

• Hepatopancreatoduodenal surgery — complex operations on the liver, pancreas and duodenum.
• Breast surgery — modern surgical interventions in the treatment of breast diseases.
• Minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery — modern operative techniques performed through small incisions.

During the joint work, particular attention will be paid to the key stages of the procedures, the technical features of performing them, decision-making in complex clinical situations, and ensuring patient safety.

Such international educational events support the development of professional competencies, the study of advanced international experience, and the introduction of modern surgical approaches into everyday clinical practice.
