Oncology center and AID International Doctors Association discuss cooperation

With the aim of further developing international cooperation, a meeting was held between the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology and representatives of the AID International Doctors Association (AID). Both sides shared information about their main areas of activity, their international experience, and their current capabilities.

The parties discussed emergency preparedness and response, the provision of urgent medical care, raising the qualifications of medical staff, developing human-resource capacity, and exchanging professional experience. The AID International Doctors Association presented its international experience in providing medical assistance in emergencies, as well as its official verification by the WHO Regional Office for Europe as an Emergency Medical Team (EMT) Type 1 Fixed.

In conclusion, the sides expressed interest in further developing mutually beneficial cooperation and agreed to consider implementing joint projects, organizing training and professional-development programs for medical staff, conducting trainings, exchanging experience, and other joint initiatives. They also agreed to continue working dialogues to define specific areas of cooperation and develop practical measures.
