Navoiy branch specialists visit district medical associations

To implement Presidential Resolutions PQ-402 and PQ-5130 and to improve early detection of cancer and the effectiveness of screening programmes, a group of leading specialists from the Navoiy regional branch of the Center conducted practical and methodological visits to the medical associations of Tomdi, Uchquduq and Zarafshon, as well as the Qiziltepa district medical association.

Training and practical seminars were organized for local physicians and nursing staff, covering the early signs and risk factors of cancer, broader engagement of the population in screening, correct patient triage and timely referral to specialized treatment institutions.

The visiting specialists also carried out in-depth examinations of patients, and complex clinical cases were reviewed in a consilium format to determine further treatment tactics.

Such visits help raise oncological vigilance in the regions, expand the coverage of screening programmes and further improve the quality of specialized medical care provided to the population.
