First national programme in Uzbekistan on early detection of colorectal cancer
The Association of Oncologists of Uzbekistan, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology and the Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan medical center have launched an international educational programme on early detection of colorectal cancer. It features hands-on colonoscopy training with leading specialists from the USA, the UK and Uzbekistan.
For the first time in Uzbekistan, a national programme on early detection of colorectal cancer has begun. The Association of Oncologists of Uzbekistan, the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology and the Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan medical center are holding an international educational programme devoted to early detection of colorectal cancer.
The programme includes hands-on colonoscopy skills classes, scientific seminars and clinical discussions with leading specialists from the USA, the UK and Uzbekistan.

Goal
The main goal is to increase the effectiveness of early detection of colorectal cancer, introduce modern colonoscopy techniques into practice and improve specialists' professional skills.
