Center delegation takes part in SwanX China Oncology Week in Beijing

The Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology and the Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan medical center are represented on 20 September at China's SwanX Oncology Week. On 20 September 2026, the Center's delegation is taking part in «SwanX China Oncology Week» in Beijing.

Participation of the Center

• Dr. D.M. Egamberdiyev, Deputy Director of the Center for Planning and Public Health, took part in the discussion of an international scientific organization's initiative, where views were exchanged on the importance of quality control systems in breast cancer management and on the prospects of international cooperation in this area.
• Professor A.A. Yusupbekov, Head of the Center's Department of Thoracic Oncology, is taking part in the program and will join talks on the possibilities of publishing in the leading international journal Cancer Innovation and its role in expanding international scientific cooperation for the countries of the Belt and Road.

The event is organized under the leadership of Professor Ma Fei of the National Cancer Center of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and brings together leading oncology specialists from Eurasian and Asian countries. The program discusses early detection of breast cancer, management across the full stages of treatment, innovative drugs and precision diagnostic technologies.

Such initiatives in international cooperation and science help improve the quality and effectiveness of the fight against cancer in our region.
