Center takes part in ICEM 2026 conference in Edinburgh for the first time
The Center is participating for the first time with its own stand at ICEM 2026, the 14th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens, held on 6-10 September in Edinburgh, Scotland, where it presents Uzbekistan's genetic research.
The Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology is taking part for the first time with its own stand at ICEM 2026, the 14th International Conference on Environmental Mutagens, held on 6-10 September at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) in Edinburgh, Scotland.
At the conference, the Center is presenting scientific results in the field of genetic research in Uzbekistan. The delegation comprises:
- Dilshod Egamberdiyev, Deputy Director for Strategic Development
- Deniz Akin, Head of the Molecular-Genetic Laboratory
The theme of ICEM 2026 is "Solving real-world problems by integrating new technologies with traditional genotoxicology approaches." Scientists from various countries are discussing the latest advances in genome safety, artificial intelligence and modern bioinformatics.
By taking part in this major event, the Center is working to expand international scientific cooperation and to develop the potential of genetic research in Uzbekistan.
