Medical oncologist Javid Hasanzade joins the Center

Javid Hasanzade, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in medical sciences and a medical oncologist, has joined the Center's team. He is a highly qualified specialist with more than 28 years of international clinical experience in the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with oncological diseases.

His principal areas of clinical work include:

• breast cancer
• ovarian cancer
• prostate cancer
• lung cancer
• stomach cancer
• small intestine cancer
• colon cancer
• rectal cancer
• liver cancer
• pancreatic cancer

His modern treatment directions cover molecular-genetic oncology, immunotherapy of oncological diseases, and targeted therapy.

Dr. Hasanzade has worked at leading research centers and clinics in Turkey, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, including the National Oncology Center of Azerbaijan, Cukurova University in Adana (Turkey), Gence International Hospital (Azerbaijan), Medicana International Hospital in Istanbul (Turkey) and Orhun Medical Group in Almaty (Kazakhstan). He also served as medical director of the company Healthis Assistance in Turkey.
