How to obtain an electronic subsidised referral (order) in Tashkent

For residents of Tashkent, an electronic subsidised referral is arranged in the following order:

1. **First visit** — The patient first goes to the family polyclinic at their place of residence and undergoes the necessary examinations. If cancer is suspected, the patient is referred to the district medical association on the basis of a medical document in Form No. 027.

2. **Referral to the Center** — Through the district medical association, the patient is sent for an outpatient examination to the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology — the Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan medical center.

3. **After the diagnosis is confirmed** — If the examinations confirm an oncological disease, the patient must return to the family polyclinic to arrange the electronic subsidised referral.

4. **Forming the referral in DMED** — The family polyclinic doctor creates the electronic subsidised referral through the DMED information system. The patient is advised to leave a phone number and ask to be notified once the referral has been issued.

5. **Review and confirmation of the referral** — The electronic referral first reaches the district medical association and is then forwarded to the Republican Center. The Center's responsible staff review the submitted documents and confirm the referral if it has been completed correctly.

6. **Choosing the medical institution and allocating funding** — After the referral is confirmed, the family polyclinic doctor selects the Republican Center as the medical institution in the DMED system. The referral is then sent automatically to the State Medical Insurance Fund. Once the Fund allocates the corresponding funds, the referral is considered fully formed.

7. **Coming to the Center** — The patient receives the confirmed referral at the family polyclinic and applies to the Republican Center with this document. On the basis of this referral, the prescribed medical services — examination and treatment — are provided to the patient free of charge at the expense of state funds.

**Important:** to fully complete the electronic subsidised referral, all the stages above must be carried out in sequence and the data must be entered correctly into the DMED system.
