Medical screenings begin at the Kokand branch under Presidential Decree PQ-238

Staff of the Republican Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology and the Gustave Roussy International Uzbekistan medical center have begun medical examinations together with specialists of the Kokand branch.

About the visit

• As part of the implementation of Presidential decisions on improving oncological and palliative care, events have begun dedicated to the content of Decree PQ-238 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 24 June 2026, «On improving measures for the prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer».
• During the visit, special attention is paid to the early detection of oncological diseases among the population, the introduction of modern diagnostic and treatment methods, the strengthening of preventive measures, and the further improvement of the knowledge and practical skills of medical staff.
